Everybody has feet of clay. When it comes to my salvation, I did my part: I SINNED. Jesus did the rest and it is a free gift. Christians know this. I don't deserve to go to heaven, not by a long shot. But I accepted the free gift and guess what? I'm still a sinner! So is Newt. So is this Jen Green. I'll cut Newt a break and so will most Evangelicals, because they know that risking Obama for another term is just inviting the Anti Christ home to roooooooost! And Obama ain't the anti Christ but I'll bet he gives him a big hug and another apology.

We're talking about politics and Newt's liberal/moderate/conservative positions on the issues, not whether or not he has been forgiven for his sins.

Since he has, since 2000, done the following, he does not deserve the support of principled conservatives:

1. Supported the false notion of Global Warming
2. Supported Cap-n-Trade
3. Supported the Individual Mandate
4. Supported Limited Amnesty
5. Supported the Extreme Liberal Scozzafazza over the conservative Doug Hoffman in NY23
6. Called Ryan's plan "Right-wing Social Engineering"
7. Stated "The Era of Reagan is Over"
8. Supported “Criminal Safezones Act” with Pelosi which created "Gun-Free" zones

Just like obama, gingrich considers HIMSELF the smartest man in the world. He thinks he knows what is best for you and me and everybody else. He does not apologize for his mistakes. He ‘explains’ them and tells YOU to get over it. NO ONE who thinks that way should have the power obama has right now. Frying pan, meet fire.

~SIGH~ Yeah, I know. Look, I know Newt's got baggage and he has a long history in DC but in this case, IMHO, that's a net plus as to how this might play out. He's a really good politician and so perhaps I'm becoming jaded and cynical in my old age, but it seems to me that you just cannot get around the NWO system that is in place handicapping the races. The Council on Foreign Relations keeps this process locked up. Newt's an old time member there and for that reason alone, in the past I'd never consider him as a possibility on the #1 or #2 spot. Now I would consider him a viable candidate for either. I'd pay money to watch him eviscerate Obozo in a debate.

Remember something: Ronald Reagan was not a member of CFR. He was not a globalist. But he understood the reality of the system and while he did not dance to the tunes, he still knew all of the musicians! He knew that in order to get elected and push his agenda for the short term, he'd have to toe the CFR line for their long term agenda. So he chose as his own veep a former Director of CFR and a Bonesman to boot! He staffed his entire administration in every single department from the top down with CFR members stacked six deep! Face it, you and I aren't going to stop this. "So it is written, so it shall be done." This process is going forward on a timetable finalized and controlled by the Lord. Period.

The wiley coyotes that inhabit the Hill are just too implacable and deadly for a political neophyte. Hate to say it but those old dogs won't try that crap with Newt, because he is arguably the deadliest old Lobo of the bunch. Having been Speaker of the House virtually guarantees he won't fall into anybody's traps political or otherwise and that's what we need. His debate performances have been nothing short of brilliant (Bachmann, too) but more and more Newt just looks Presidential. In avoiding the obvious setups to rag on his fellow candidates as the MSM has set them up time and again, Newt comes off as the only "adult" in the room.

We freepers are waaaaay more politically astute than the average ignorant voter from any party. Yeah, I won't pretend that his past globalist associations don't bother me, but his positioning isn't about HIM or us or liberals, it's about God's plan for the planet and I'm gonna track with that. If Newt stays on top, I'm going with him all the way. It sure can't be any worse than it is now. Unless Obozo wins a second term.
