He didn’t say it today. It’s in a book. If you are running for president and someone asks what kind of first lady your wife would be, what would you say?
Well, that’s hard for me to imagine since I’m a woman. But, I’d hope I’d saaay something like, “My wife is a tireless campaigner and has exquisite taste. She will be a gracious hostess and will make the nation proud of the White House. She is my support and makes my life easy so that I can do the work that will be required of me as President.”
I would NOT start comparing her to other First Ladies as a way to polish up her image.
