Right now I don’t recognize the American people. And I’ve seen a system that shoves crap sandwiches down the throats of the American people even if the people DO burn up the DC phone lines in protest, DO give the biggest landslide to oppose the current regime (but then the people they voted in cave as if they didn’t have a mandate), etc.
And I’ve watched the military leadership screw the underlings to do whatever lawless thing the corrupt leaders wanted to get done.
I see Issa investigating Holder and finding him totally lawless and corrupt - but then Issa saying that it’s up to OBAMA to decide whether a criminal can stay in office!
Every “hero” has failed us. Every one. This system eats heroes for breakfast so it can have strength to spend the rest of the day scattering the rest of us.
Your advice to get away from this is well-taken and I’m going to do that. I came back on to see if anybody had any advice about a firearm to protect the family with, but had meant it to be just a quick check and then I’ll put up our Christmas tree or something that reminds me of things I really can count on. Right now it feels like everything I hold dear is dying. I loved America. I don’t think she can survive this cancer that’s eating her alive, body and soul.

Buck up there Butter, all isn’t lost. Just two comments: (1) Issa can’t fire Holder himself, but he can put the pressure on bam about the conspiracy to walk guns/facilitate murder, and (2) for home defense if you’re not gun savvy, a pump shotgun is one of the best choices, just the sound of racking a round will deter most perps but do practice a bit at the range, eh?
