I like Bachmann because I know she means what she says. I think she’s going to land some surprisingly big endorsements soon and will be in the race for the long haul.
I don’t know if she’ll win but I’m happy to support her.
Interesting. I like your posts even though we don't always agree and respect your views. You may be right about Bachmann. I've always said I agree with her more than any other candidate - and that is going way back. Bachmann is a rock, a solid conservative down the line.
When Perry entered the race I saw a candidate that was excellent on paper (in my opinion), but who I finally concluded probably didn't have the communication skills for the job. In trying to knock him down, I think Bachmann went overboard on the HPV thing and kind of blew up her campaign. I pretty much wrote her off after that, but she is definitely the candidate that most closely matches me ideologically.
I've moved to Gingrich lately. Not because I love him, but I do like some things about him and felt he was the strongest option remaining. I'd be prepared to reconsider Bachmann or Perry though. I suppose I will watch and see if either kick their campaigns into high gear and emerge stronger.
