If people are really going to refuse to vote for a candidate (and in turn, let Obama win, who is far, far, far, far, far worse on the issue) who has voted pro-life 99% of the time simply because of this, then there is little hope for this nation.

While it's one thing to disagree with Newt on this, there isn't any legislation, proposed or otherwise, that this particular detail will make one iota of difference on in how he votes on that legislation.

I’d rather focus on retaking the Senate and keeping the House, than vote for a leader who will further disparage the GOP. Besides the Ron Paul support is very vocal and large. If they decide to do a write-in vote, no GOP candidate is going to win.

Ask Governor Rick Perry the same question and he would have no trouble answering correctly. He understands the issue and helped us fight clone and kill bills in Texas in ‘05 and ever since.

“”one iota of difference on in how he votes on that legislation.””

He wouldn’t get to vote on any legislation!

I agree, but it seems that lately on here, too many expect a perfect 100% flawless candidate. That doesn’t exist, well Palin was close, but nobody is perfect.
