I think that is an excellent question. I wondered the same thing when Newt made such an issue about the amnesty thing. Why was he doing this NOW? I really think he has a powerful self-destructive tendency to shoot himself in the foot whenever he is succeeding at anything - whether it be politics or his personal life. Now he comes out with this.

Better now that in the Autumn of 2012. I'm battling depression. It seems like the Conservative candidates can't get their s**t together and we are going to end up with RINO Mitt as the GOP nominee. I'd almost bet money on it.
