IMO, the cutting down of Cain was DC flexing its muscles to let
us wee people know exactly where we stand.

I don’t agree that the Republican establishment thinks they cannot win with
conservatives...I think it is because the establishment agrees with the liberals
on the Democratic side.

I think it is the most logical conclusion. It isn’t just the Democrats or the Republicans, it is the combined ruling elites in both parties who are the conservative haters. How can they be identified and be defeated en masse? In some cases, it can’t done, as in cases like Barbara Boxer or Maxine Waters. What hope do those who love this country really have, what is realistic?
