The nazis hated marxists too. Even if the BNP were capable of defeating the Islamist/socialist/progressive political grouping I dont see much point in exchanging one set of statists for another.

The BNP would secure the borders, but at the cost of actively discriminating against ethnic minorities.

The BNP would protect British industry, at the cost of taking most of it under public ownership.

The BNP would increase defence spending, at the cost of hardly using the services (the US would be on its own in Afghanistan, cos they'd pull the British army out pdq).

The BNP would cancel the European Union experiement, at the cost of completely isolating us from the rest of the continent.

The BNP would help settle the ongoing conflicts in the Middle East, at the cost of throwing Israel under the bus (they are rabidly antisemitic). The BNP would ease the debt crisis, at the cost of dumping free trade and therefore causing even more economic problems worldwide.

The BNP would strengthen the union by abolishing the various devolution acts, at the cost of increased unrest in Wales, Northern Ireland and (especially) Scotland.

The BNP would restore law and order, at the cost of weakening civil rights.

Sorry ... my comment was only meant to highlight all of the acronyms in the preceding entries (BNP, UKIP, EDL); in other words, it was meant as a joke ...

I mean, it just reminded me of the "Judean Peoples' Front", "The Peoples' Front of Judea", "The Popular Peoples' Front for Judea", etc, etc, etc, from "Life of Brian".
