Savage says Cain fooled him. About what?
About the women. When it was just the 4 and their he-said, she-said allegations, Savage was supporting Cain and Cain's claiming he was completely innocent and being set up.
When the 13-year 'friendship' came to light, many, including Savage, had second thoughts and felt betrayed by Cain.
[In one thread about the time #4 came forward and their was a lull for a while, I posted a question: Is there another shoe to drop? Well, apparently, there was and it did -- the 13-year affair.]

I guess since almost nothing surprises me any more, "fooled" was a strong word, esp. from Savage who constantly (and sometimes wisely) advises to trust no one.
Seeing wife Gloria out on stage brought back memories of McGreevy, the old Jersey governor who said he faked 20 years being straight to advance politically. Cain could have used it too to become the first black gay prez, no surprises.
