My kid is in a public school for the first and perhaps the only semester ever. I loathe what they do. They have incorporated prison administration terminology for handling the students. “Lockdown”, “block”, “cell”, “detainee” and so forth. Crazy. This is allegedly an honor school and magnet school. Your government at work on you.
I thought anyone who read about the new NYC sex ed curriculum would do whatever they could to leave that system. I am amazed and disgusted at the lack of outrage.
