Yep, FreeRepublic is as slow as molasses today!
Quinn was talking about a woman with 15 kids. The dad of the first 10 kids is in jail. She was evicted, with her entire brood, and her belongings out on the street, picked over by local thugs. The woman said “somebody has to pay”. So, she’s not taking responsibility for the fact that she had 15 kids and wants US all to pay for them!

I remember Jim Quinn in 1968 when he had the 8-midnight DJ slot on KQV in Pittsburgh and used to introduce himself with “The Mighty Quinn” by Manfred Mann.

Yep, Quinn’s been a part of the scene for a long time! I’m glad he’s on ‘our side’ now! He’s excellent as a talk-show host. I have been listening to him since the 1990’s.
