Snow White New Hampshire And The Huntsman

Jon Huntsman barely registers in national GOP polls and is a distant fourth in New Hampshire, the state he has focused on. So, by the logic of the current Republican presidential race, it’s time for the ex-Utah governor to shine.

Michele Bachmann, Rick Perry and Herman Cain have all skyrocketed only to collapse in turn due to self-inflicted wounds. Despite every opportunity, Mitt Romney has failed to make the sale with Republican voters. Libertarian Ron Paul has a fervent following that doesn’t seem to expand.

Saw him on Kudlow last night and was very impressed. At this point, what are the options?

Articles like this are what I see as part of the problem ... referring to any candidate as the “flavor of the week” indicates that none of them have substance, and that we will be left with simply the last one we choose to “taste”. To push for Huntsman because we have not checked him out yet is to infer that we are sheep and we need to be told that Newt is no good for us, so quietly move along now.

That’s good news. Huntsman is impressive. It’s getting late now. It is almost, as Reagan once said, “a time for choosing.”

I’m hoping people cut through all the nonsense, the fluff, and the meaningless media-driven drama, examine the candidates’ record, and what they propose for the future, and choose their candidate based on that.
