There’s no rationality here unless you redefine rational to explain the day-to-day beliefs of different elements of the Democrat and Republican establishment. Some things they see eye-to-eye on; some things they don’t, obviously. But when it comes to conservatism, they both fear conservatives (albeit for different reasons). ....
