It's been well known for years that Baldwin has severe "anger management" issues.... American Airlines has now provided the crew's account of the incident, which shows that with the plane ready for take-off Baldwin's reckless behavior had escalated the situation far beyond the initial "won't turn off the iPad" situation:

He slammed the lavatory door so hard, the cockpit crew heard it and became alarmed, even with the cockpit door closed and locked. They immediately contacted the cabin crew to check on the situation." I know it’s a trivial and stupid “Hollywood” story, except that it did inconvenience a couple of hundred fellow citizens with Baldwin’s “don’t you know who I am” tantrum.

I figured there was more to the story, and that there was probably some serious and inappropriate confrontation with the flight attendant, etc., for him to get kicked off the plane.

Sure enough, AA has taken the remarkable step of providing some of the crew’s side of the story.....

and it is UGLY.....
