I wish they would have fried him. Absent that, I hope he rots in prison throughout his old age, before he gets to rot in hell. I hope he suffers tremendously. Maybe someday, the folks against the death penalty because it is cruel and unusual punishment, are forced to see these criminals rot away until their last breath.
The victim gets to remain silent and deceased.
They should have fried him 29 years ago.
Zero will pardon him.. just wait..
However, most of the left will stop whining, now that Mumia won't be executed. I've always argued that the death penalty is is positive for defendants who are truly innocent because their cases get much greater scrutiny, and they get more defense lawyers, when the death penalty is on the table. When a defendant is only at risk of getting life without parole, few people are interested.
In any case, Mumia is guilty and should fry, but I take some comfort in knowing that his status as celebrity defendant will diminish dramatically now. (I guess Susan Sarandon now can spend even more time chasing after guys half her age.)
Why the left made a hero of the murdering creep in beyond me. I remember reading particulars of the case some time ago, and it leaves little doubt that this idiot killed the police officer. I guess all you have to do to become an idol of leftist ignorati is to kill a cop and then denounce America.
This slug has lived off taxpayers, awaiting "Appeals", and deserves a Hoffa Burial now.
This piece of craps real sentence comes later...............
So what am I supposed to do with my Fry Mumia bumper sticker?
A little arrow between Fry / Mumia pointing up to the words IN HELL
I'm not as confident of this as you are.
I don’t think it was “Public Pressure”. I think it came from the same source that pulled the already won case against the NBP Brothers, and round filed it.
2012 has to be a winner for the American people. A time to correct One BIG Ass Mistake America.
Symptomatic of the inability of our society to excrete its waste.
“Now he goes into the “general population’ at the prison where he will be turned into someone’s byoch.”
Maybe this will be a “blessing in disguise.” I just wonder what the a$$holes who have been printing “free Mumia” tee shirts are going to do with their overstock. Here’s hoping he has a long and miserable rest of his life.
I was just this morning speaking with a friend who worked as a prison guard (here in PA) for 15 years.
You are entirely correct, he will be a well respected member of the prison "community".
Let him out!
We can then start a pool on how long he’d last.
PA has only executed 3 murderers since the death penalty was reinstated only because they gave up their appeals. The PA courts allow virtually endless appeals basically denying justice. This was probably a significant factor.

You may be right, but politics and race are much more important factors. Do you really think this would have gone on all these years had he been white and the officer black? We are a race based society. Certainly not the one I was raised in.
I think the Presidential Pardon only works on Federal prisoners. The PA Governor would have to free Abu-Jamal. I don't think that's going to happen any time soon. That said, this guy's likely to be around for a good long time, and who knows what the citizens of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania might elect in the future.
