Yes, even in the sixties. In the nineties, my cousin’s son would try to get on tv, the culture of Cops, what you gonna do when they come for you? He liked being a bad boy.

What is the name of the movie you have posted with John Wayne and Harry Morgan?
To: Borges
I don’t know if I’ve ever heard a more foul mouthed actor. May he rest in peace.

I think they did do a death pool a wk or so ago, so we’re not still waiting. Not sure if Morgan was in the most recent one.
Harry Morgan actually was in M.A.S.H twice...in one episode he played a looney-tunes general in “The General Flipped at Dawn”. At the end he was singing some kind of song about “beat your feet in the Mississippi Mud”. As the M.A.S.H
personnel gathered in ranks and he addressed them, he seemed stern then softened a bit as he came up to Radar. “Now this seems like someone who follows the regulations. Where
are you from Son?”
Radar: “Iowa, sir.”
General: (shouting) “NO TALKING IN RANKS!”

That’s from “How The West Was Won”, a collection of segments done by various directors. That scene was John Ford’s work, IIRC. Pretty heavy role for Harry there: Ulysses S. Grant.

Facepalm! FWIW, my 30 year old Sister in law, knows who Harry Morgan is and has seen every episode of MASH at least twice.
RIP, Harry and thanks for the memories.

The movie is “How the West Was Won”. Great but long movie.
Lots of big name stars in this one.
Jimmy Stewart
Gregory Peck
Carl Maulden
George Peppard
Walter Brennan
Henry Fonda
Debbie Reynolds
and a bunch of others. Narration by James Whitmore Jr.
Movie is very much worth the time to watch.

I wonder if these two are where the name Harry Potter came from.
