Sources: Virtually no chance McCain will endorse Gingrich

Sen. John McCain, who won the Republican nominee for president in the 2008 election, has largely avoided commenting on the 2012 field of candidates. But he’s gearing up to finally endorse one of them. Sources tell The Hill it won’t be Newt Gingrich.

Republican sources familiar with his thinking say he will probably endorse his onetime political enemy, Mitt Romney.

There is virtually no chance, sources say, that he will pick former House Speaker Newt Gingrich (R-Ga.), who has surged into the lead in polls, stoking consternation among his ex-colleagues on Capitol Hill.

The reason: the same one that keeps coming back up. Electablity.

There is growing concern among many of McCain’s Senate Republican colleagues on whether Gingrich is electable in a match-up against President Obama.

What is missing in many analyses of McCain is that he is one of the dumbest white men ever born. He is very like Obama in that he has been "sponsored" every step of the way through prep school, through Annapolis, through flight training, and through the naval hierarchy.

Aircraft mechanics throughout the USN breathed a sigh of relief when he was captured, and in holding him the NV did us a favor. This was a guy who was a true "Jap Ace," wrecking at least 5 American airplanes, whose carrier landings sent wise crew members scurrying for cover, and who was regularly lost over the Chesapeake on training missions.

The man, very like Barack, is an idiot of monumental proportions who has lived his entire life with others to tell how wonderful he is. Relax, it's sort of a naval family tradition we inherited from our British cousins. Well-connected ani rule

Newsflash,baby.

Meghan is the smart one in that outfit.
