I considered putting this in a sidebar, but I’ll leave that to someone else.

I’m anti-Romney, as are most around here on FR.

But for those who can see Romney’s statism as plain as day, it should be just as easy for them to see it in Gingrich too.

“It doesn’t do our side any good to run down our leading candidate and falsely portray him to be the same as RINO Romney. They’re polar opposites. Within a few weeks, Perry, Bachmann, Santorum and Huntsman are all going to have to realize they didn’t make the cut. They’re going to have to release their loyal supporters and hopefully they’ll encourage them to coalesce behind the more conservative of the leading candidates and the one most likely to take the battle hard against Obama. I couldn’t agree more. The relentless tearing down of someone who has a shot at kicking Obama down the stairs needs to be supported, not sniped at.

It’s common sense.
