Wisconsin Republican Rep. Jim Sensenbrenner, a former chairman of the House Judiciary Committee where Attorney General Eric Holder testified on Thursday, suggested that impeachment of administration officials involved with Operation Fast and Furious may be the only way to bring the scandal to a close.
In a heated exchange between Sensenbrenner and Holder during Thursdays Judiciary Committee hearing, Sensenbrenner said impeachment is one option on the table if Holder and the Justice Department continue to withhold information from congressional investigators.
Sensenbrenner didnt specify which administration officials he thinks could face impeachment proceedings, or if Holder is among them. But he did say the drastic measure would be a last resort.

The list, Ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
Better get one of those little street popcorn carts you used to see way back when, you could make some serious coin if the Republicans really follow through.
Start at the very top, and let it all roll downhill from there.
I am thinking more like bringing it out in the open.
.
I’m not thrilled with this. First, the Senate as presently constituted will never convict. Second, even if they did, there is too much confusion about whether there can be a criminal trial afterwards [too many buy the false argument that that would be double jeopardy]. I’m concerned that this approach, at this time, will only serve to diffuse our energies and cause Holder’s people to rally [and we know how afraid of Holder’s people Senate republicans are].
"..., but his initials are Eric Holder."
Why not a civil lawsuit against government employees doing Fast and Furious?
Federal employees do not get guaranteed immunity. That is my understanding as citizens fought individual HUD employees and won.
Activists attract HUD thought police - how the Clinton administration is opposing people who fight against homeless shelters and halfway houses in their neighborhoods
To wit, "[the harassed and persecuted citizens] filed this civil rights action alleging that the investigation conducted by the HUD officials in San Francisco violated their First Amendment rights. The officials argue that they were required by the Fair Housing Act to investigate whether the neighbors had filed a lawsuit in state court with an unlawful discriminatory motive. At the very least, they argue, they are entitled to qualified immunity. The district court denied the officials' motion for summary judgment on the issue of qualified immunity, entered partial summary judgment in favor of the neighbors on the issue of liability, and dismissed as moot the neighbors' claim for declaratory and injunctive relief. Only the issue of damages remains for trial.1 We affirm the district court in all respects."
So much civil liability.
What about criminal liability? From and Internet source: "At law, an accomplice is a person who actively participates in the commission of a crime, even though they take no part in the actual criminal offense. For example, in a bank robbery, the person who points the gun at the teller and asks for the money is guilty of armed robbery. However, anyone else directly involved in the commission of the crime, such as the lookout or the getaway car driver, is an accomplice, even though in the absence of an underlying offense keeping a lookout or driving a car would not be an offense."
Who mandated that the murderers be provided the guns?
Please leave me on it.
Please leave me on it.
Call in the beer and hotdog vendors, maybe throw in some nachos.
Don’t waste your time and money on popcorn. The mcStupid party won’t do anything about it. Standing up to the commies will make the “moderates” mad. So just shut up.
Um... You have enough to nail Holder, Clinton, and even Obama.
FILE THE CHARGES.
Move on, nothing to see here. Just a bunch of fat, old, pompus asses raising their voices at each other. There isn’t a republican alive that has the courage to stand up to Holder. They’ll run like a bunch of scared rabbits.
Impeachment? Give Holder to the ATF and let them walk him to the drug cartels.
If the azzes won’t even stand up to voter fraud -election after election - they are worthless. Now they as telling all the Republicans to not go after the Muslim marxist in the white hut because he’s untouchable, they are hopeless and incompetent. We need an opposition party and McStupid’s party is not it.
I would like someone to straight up ask Obama why he his job does not require him to demand that his appointees either provide good-faith assistance to the Fast and Furious investigation or resign, and to fire any appointees who fail to do either.
