The Establishment Guns for Gingrich
Rush Limbaugh.com ^ | December 8, 2011 | Rush Limbaugh

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: The Republican Party -- I mean the establishment -- working together with the Democrat establishment in Washington, is now loaded for bear against Newt Gingrich. The long knives are out for Newt Gingrich everywhere you look in the Washington establishment. Everywhere you look, you want to call it the Washington ruling class, you want to call it the establishment of both parties, whatever it is, they're all going for Newt Gingrich. I got a stack here to demonstrate this.
BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: The Ruling Class, the government class, the political class -- whatever you want to call the establishment in Washington --of both parties is out for Gingrich. It is huge; it is major. You can even find Gingrich in the crosshairs on several conservative blogs. Now, I mentioned that the National Enquirer is reporting that a staffer who worked for Gingrich had sexual relations with him back in 1977. That's 34 years ago. This woman says that she performed a sex act on Gingrich in a hotel room back in 1977 when he was still married to his first wife. She says that she has come forward now because, quote, "He always talks about being big on family values but you don't practice what he preaches."

The woman's name is Manning, last name is Manning; and I guess Gingrich hasn't been in the news for the last 34 years. All of a sudden this woman has now found out that Newt is a public figure! She just learned that Newt's talking about family values, and she just figured out that we need to know that Newt made her do a sex thing toil to him, or she wanted to or what have you. (big sigh) Interesting.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: We're going to Dallas. I'm going to the Cowboy game this weekend, Snerdley. I'm going down to Giants-Cowboys. I'll be in Dallas. Scott, it's great to have you on the program. Hello, sir.

CALLER: Hey, Rush, how are you today.

RUSH: Very good, thanks very much.

CALLER: Hey, I wanted to ask you, do you think now that the media's given coverage to Newt's alleged sexual relations with this women so long ago that they might give equal coverages to Obama's alleged sex and drugs romp with Larry Sinclair in suburban Chicago?

RUSH: Nope, never happen. They'll bury it, ain't gonna happen. Sinclair be portrayed as a kook wacko extremist. No way, won't happen. It's gonna get about as much coverage as you just gave it.

CALLER: (laughing) Well, it's an allegation. I thought all allegations, you know, are fair game.

RUSH: No. No. There's no vetting. No, there's not gonna be vetting of Obama. No. We're not allowed to know anybody he's ever had sex with, male or female. We're not allowed to know what his grades were. We're not allowed to know any students in his class. We're not allowed to know who inspired him or who was inspired by him. We're not allowed to know any of that stuff. You're a racist for wanting to were I it up, you pig!

All right, who's next, Jim in Northport, Florida, welcome to the EIB. Hi.

CALLER: Ah, good! What a pleasure to talk to you, sir.

RUSH: Thank you very much. Great to have you here.

CALLER: Okay. You know this tax holiday. Isn't that money coming out of your payroll tax, isn't that your Social Security money?

RUSH: Damn right. Yeah. That's the only way Social Security is funded is with the payroll tax. Exactly right.

CALLER: Is this going to reduce the amount of Social Security that a person receives when he gets ready to retire?

RUSH: Well, if budgeting were honest, yeah. If you take money out of the pool, it's gonna shrink.

CALLER: No, I mean the individual. See, I mean you get credit for how many years you worked and the amount of money you made, but if you don't pay in, will that be reduced?

RUSH: Oh, oh, I see what you mean. You know, I hadn't thought of that, but I'll bet you're right. No wonder Obama wants this so bad!

CALLER: Yes.

RUSH: No wonder he wants it so bad. You're basically taking money out. (laughing) By accepting this tax cut, you are reducing the amount of benefits you get because you're reducing how much you pay into it. Yep.

CALLER: And one other question if you got a minute: Christine Todd Whitman on TV today looking for third-party candidate?

RUSH: Yeah.

CALLER: Oh, what's the matter with her?

RUSH: Well, there are a lot of people talking about running third party.

CALLER: That's... Ugh. Here we go again!

RUSH: Trump has talked about it, Ron Paul has talked about it, and now the brilliant Christine Todd Whitman. Who does she want to be the third-party candidate?

CALLER: She didn't mention any names. She was just looking.

RUSH: What's she upset about?

CALLER: What are they all upset about?

RUSH: Well, it must be Newt, I guess. I mean, she's classic centrist moderate RINO. All right, let's see who's next here. This is Jim. You know, we got this screwy new call system and I can't read it without the glasses because the letters get covered up with dark shading.

I don’t know what the establishment’s problem is, besides fear of the media.

The establishment loves big government. Newt loves big government.

It’s his record. http://www.thenewamerican.com/usnews/politics/2396-newt-gingrich-the-establishments-conservative?showall=1

The question I have is if the GOP-E is doing the rope-a-dope on us when they bash Newt. Newt is now the anti-Mittens candidate, but he is still a GOP-E guy.

Rush is right again. The GOP Establishment, the ruling class, is anti-Newt. He's spoiling 'Mitt's Turn'.

Funny how many here are stuck on stupid by insisting that Newt is the Establishment.

“RUSH: The Republican Party — I mean the establishment — working together with the Democrat establishment in Washington, is now loaded for bear against Newt Gingrich.”

Gingrich IS the ESTABLISHMENT...always was, always will be, and so is Limbaugh.

They play some of you like a violin.

RUSH: The Ruling Class, the government class, the political class -- whatever you want to call the establishment in Washington --of both parties is out for Gingrich.

I will borrow a phrase from Alexei Navalny as he describes the United Russia Party as the "Party of Swindlers and Thieves" to describe the Democrats and describe the Republicans as the Party of Willing Accomplices. Political criminals all.

The “establishment” republicans are the very reason The Tea Parties became so forceful and united. We are fed up with the Roves, the Krauthammers, the Mitts. Fed up with the rigged selection of candidates on the republican ticket by the “establishment” Newt is not in with the good ole boys or the insiders despite what the lefties say. LOOK....the leftwingers say Newt is a total insider and the rightwingers say he is out of their loop. They gave us McCain, GW Bush and George Herbert Bush...moderates to the nth degree. True conservatives have had it!!! ironic that the more they bash Newt...the higher he goes in the polls.

Go Newt!!! Bring it on home...America needs Newt.

Gingrich Position on Gun Control

The Second Amendment: Individual or Collective Right?

Gingrich is a firm advocate of a citizen’s right to bear arms.

“The right to bear arms is not about hunting. It’s not about target practice ... The right to bear arms is a political right designed to safeguard freedom so that no government can take away from you the rights that God has given you, and it was written by people who had spent their lifetime fighting the greatest empire in the world and they knew that if they had not had the right to bear arms, they would have been enslaved. And they did not want us to be enslaved. And that is why they guaranteed us the right to protect ourselves. It is a political right of the deepest importance to the survival of freedom in America.”

April 29, 2011, speaking at the National Rifle Association’s annual convention staged in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania.

Legislations

Newt accuses the Obama administration of undermining the Second Amendment through a less than open strategy of legislative amendments.

“In every possible way, the Obama administration is the most consistently anti-gun administration and anti-Second Amendment administration that we have ever seen ... They’re now developing a stealth strategy in which they combine anti-gun judges with anti-gun treaties ... They will then try to strip us of our rights by judicial fiat.”

Remember in ‘96 when Ron Paul recommended that we read “The Third Wave” by Alvin & Heidi Toffler. That is the plan to blend communism with capitalism. No wonder they say Ron Paul is a nut, putting something like that out there. What the heck is his problem that he thinks we should just blend in a little communism?

Oh! did I say Ron Paul?

Correction: it was actually good ol Newt.

Isn’t Newt’s headquarters on K Street in Washington? Doesn’t Newt run The Americano out of Washington? Where does Newt live anyway?

And Newt isn't part of the Establishment? If he isn't it wouldn't be because of his principles or because they wouldn't let him in, but because he messed up -- blotted his copybook, as the English say -- when he was a member.

Newt's not really a guy who takes on the Establishment. He's a guy who got on the wrong side of some Establishment types for largely non-ideological reasons. Maybe Lyndon Johnson or Richard Nixon might be good parallels -- not real opponents of the Establishment, but people whose personalities the Establishment isn't comfortable with.

"Newt is trying really hard to play both sides of the Second Amendment. He’s a professional politician. But as the old saying goes, the proof is in the pudding. It’s in his record. His own words and votes. He’s a danger to our Second Amendment rights and privacy. The members of Georgia Gun Owners know this. We want ALL Americans to know this as well,” said Mr. Leonard, Political Director of Georgia Gun Owners."

Better to look at Newtie's actual history.

I take it that your preferred candidate has someone been shot down, and that has left Newt the last man standing.

How many more weeks do you think we can keep using conservatives as a punchbag before we end up with all of them damaged beyond viability?

Or have will the bashers now switch to a candidate they used to trash 24/7?

And they’ll not see the contradiction in that whatsoever.
