No I was not in command that day. I joined the Missouri N. G. in 1972 and received a class in crowd control. They went through the entire Kent St. thing with our class and explained what went wrong. They were not fired upon but were fielded with out proper training and support.

Thank you for your service from one vet to another.

I was being sarcastic, saying that if you had been in command the incident wouldn’t have happened. There are others who have posted the link that reports that the troops were fired on, or felt that at the time.

What would you have done differently?
