That we allow labor unions to exist in the United States with the protection and encouragement of the government is admission of the general belief that Karl Marx was right.

Well stated. But at least we’re moving in the right direction. Believe it or not, 70 years ago today, in the NY Times, was an article about gas station attendants in the NY City area calling off their planned strike because Pearl Harbor was attacked. It sure was nice of them not to strike, but WHAT THEY HELL were they doing being unionized in the first place.

Unions are an ugly, un-American, entity, that must be DESTROYED, by any means necessary.

Agreed. A hundred years ago there was a need for labor unions and as time has passed that need has greatly diminished. Today they are not needed, what is needed is a right to work law in every state.

As you say, that our government protects and encourages labor unions is outrageous but it would also be outrageous if our government banned them. Let the worker freely decide if they want to pay a union to forward that unions political agenda and the union thug leaders largess, if that was the case I suspect union days would be numbered.
