Sorry I have to call you out, but there’s no difference between the Democrat and Republican parties. Everyday dozens of Republican politicians are called “RINO’s, when in fact, they embody exactly what the Republican Party stands for: socialism, at a slightly lesser velocity.
Per the USA Today, as of 2004 there were 74 Million Democrats, 55 million Republicans, and 42 million Independents. If you have updated numbers, pelase share them. I imagine that with the Tea Party movement, many have fled the Republican Party to become independent, just as it appears is happening to the Demcratic party.
Name sling as you please, but I’m not going to play a part in the two-party, gang mentality system the Founding Fathers warned against.
Labels aside, the values and intents of each side have been clearly defined-moreso in the last 10 years or so as the Socialist hard Left has become comfortable in revealing what they are truly all about. (Not to say that those who run as so-called conservatives don't walk back on their campaign rhetoric - that is a differnt issue.)
But for those who waffle back and forth between what are now such clearly defined stances-I'm sorry I have absolutely no use for such people - they do tremendous damage to our nation. It's the old adage - "if you don't know what you stand for...you'll fall for anything."
