Take for example Peggy Noonan, who pronounced Gingrich all but dead in May, noting I have yet to meet a Gingrich 2012 supporter. Kinda like that twit liberal reporter in 1972 who could not understand how Nixon won because she didn't know any Nixon supporters.
That's what happens when you inhabit a fetid inbred political swamp.

Noonan and Krauthammer don’t have a clue on how the republican voters think. They are in their elitist world mingling with the same ole Rove clones. I can just see them at their cocktail parties dissing Gingrich and praising Mitt. They sureley are shocked.

That was Pauline Kael, who did movie reviews for
The New Yorker. She was actually pretty good when she stuck to what she knew--I remember an excellent piece she wrote about Cary Grant.
The New Yorker used to be a much better magazine--it had a liberal bias even then but it had funny cartoons and articles worth reading. Occasionally I look through an issue now and it's hard to find a single funny cartoon.

That's what happens when you inhabit a fetid inbred political swamp. Indeed. I get the liberals upset when I tell them they commit "intellectual incest".
Don't want to make the same mistake, so will read all spectrums and laugh at 'em - most of 'em anyway. :-)
