it’s not impossible to find the offenders. But someone’s got to call the fuzz, first.

Gee, since you posted that, it's been working fine.

All I was trying to do, and I’m sorry if anyone had his feelings hurt, was to keep this Sunday Morning Talk show thread which is traditionally the one thread where people discuss issues as adults and don’t get into flame wars...

well, long convoluted sentence, but I was just trying to keep the back and forth insults to a minimum.

I stopped, or tried to stop, but ... oh, well, see you next Sunday.

Take your low budget attacks to another thread that likes personal attacks. For you to attack altura takes some real class, unfortunately it’s all 4th.

Pray for America

Out of respect for Alas Babylon's earlier request, I won't give your flame-bait post the treatment it deserves.

Well, that is what I think happened. You can chalk it up to a goof by his campaign staff, or you can get all upset about it and blame him.

I am just telling you what I think happened, and it is quite likely in the next month or so Newt’s campaign will make a similar mistake. Did Newt approve that ludicrous email his campaign chief sent out this spring, with Newt rising through the smoke, etc?

And speaking of unprepared, how much staff does Newt have in Iowa? And did he really miss getting on the ballot in Ohio, or is that just a rumor?

ALL campaigns flub things up. All of them. I am voting for whoever wins the primaries. Period.

OK, it’s over. We’re all, first and foremost, wanting to rid our country of the scourge of Leftism. Because of this, we all get passionate in the cause, so to speak. It’s hard to convey heartfelt meaning on a medium of ony words; sometimes it gets misconstrued.

For the two parties involved, I saw only a difference of opinion that got a little heated. No more, no less.

I agree! We should be safe to say there’s been a lot of screw-ups doozies for all the various candidates this year.

My first choice was Sarah and I understand she is not running so I too must chose a candidate, but there’s still no rush for me yet... My primary doesn’t come until much later.

As you said, in the end, it WILL be whoever runs against Obama.

I’ve said this all along. The other day, Rush had a lot to say along the same line as you - about how foolish conservatives will pout and stay home if their candidate isn’t the nominee, preferring to see BHO win “to teach America a lesson”. He, like many of us, believes our country may not survive a second BHO term and that we MUST keep our eye on the prize - getting BHO OUT - by uniting around the nominee when the time comes.

“But as soon as we select someone, Obama will see there will be hell to pay.”

I pray so, because we’re facing a slickster from hell.

“Because I think 99% of us will get behind whoever we select and concentrate on the evil dude in the White House.”

We simply MUST. Again, I pray we all unite to get this unspeakably evil monster and his minions OUT of power. Millions of Americans deserve better. Killing the Republic will NOT teach anyone “a lesson” - it will be too late.

“I’m really disappointed that no other women accused Herman Cain this week of acting like a Clinton or a Kennedy”

Why should they? Their mission was accomplished and I’m sure they were rewarded for it.

“I am making my decision based on things other than TALK.”

You and I may be, but there are FAR too many voters in the general who will not. Unfortunately, we’ll have to have a candidate who can fight talk with talk.

“TALK is how we ended up with Obama.”

See above. I really like Perry, but darn it, I’m afraid he’d get rattled up against BHO and the hostile media. Newt seems the only one who can do it - he can out-talk the Talker in Chief.

Hey, AB - did you hear them say on MTP at the end that DNC Dave’s going to “moderate” a facebook debate in New Hampshire? Just wondered if I heard correctly. And if so, why oh WHY do our guys participate in such things with hostile leftists without at least insisting that, in return, they get some conservative venue debates with conservatives asking the questions???

Yes, we must. No time to sulk or bemoan the fate of our favorites.

If you saw that face on 60 Minutes last night, you saw how vital it is that we get those anti-American, law-breakers, country destroyers, crooks and miscreants out of our lives.

“He’s just got a bug up his butt about Perry and he’s afraid Perry beat his guy in the debate.”

I know I’m getting to this a week late...but saw this when I was brushing up for this weeks debate.

DB’s fear is the same fear of the establishment media/Republicans and inside the beltway types are terrified of. A true conservative winning the primary and going on to face Obama.

It’s no different than when Reagan ran...each time he had to fight the establishment Rockerfeller Republicans who despised him...even AFTER his defeat of Carter.

The Mitt-flop backers would rather hold the House...win the Senate and let barry keep the WH. They are more concerned with getting their hands on the committee chars and $$$$ than changing the direction this country is heading.
