[I noticed that Ole Shep was looking positively gaunt.]
He really is and he’s a young man. Something’s not right.
When ABC gets ratings on a Republican debate, is any part of that about the lower income viewers tuning in, who may not have cable channels, or what? General viewer interest is rising as Newt news is everywhere, covering his sky rocketing polling numbers.
There are moments in these debates, when it is just a viewer enjoying the debate, that I am VERY proud of every single one of our conservative candidates, and also how repulsive the panel of Democrats consistently show themselves to be. The debates are winners for us. The only squirming I do is when they get too tough, or too personal with each other. Of course, Bachman wins on the cut, slice and nag, but she is very intellegent and flawless on the substance of the issues. Overall, they each bring America to the stage as we know her to be.
"In November 2000, Smith found himself the subject of the news, while he was in Florida covering the Florida ballot counting controversy. The St. Petersburg Times reported that he had been arrested on November 17 for aggravated battery with a motor vehicle after he allegedly hit a woman with his car during an argument over a parking space.[9] The alleged victim was Maureen Walsh, another reporter who was also in Florida covering the election controversy; she was released from the hospital with bruises on her knees from the incident.[10] According to the Tallahassee Democrat, on July 20, 2001, the charge "was reduced to misdemeanor battery" and dismissed after an out-of-court settlement in June 2001.[11]"
