Two weeks before Christmas!
Kinda dragging this morning. Seems like my cold is back. Going to bed early. 20 degrees or COLDER here today! UGH!
Baro pressure is 30.41. It was 30.59 yesterday. The record all time high is 30.90.

My computer says it’s 19 degrees. I am not ready for this. I got two seed catalogs in the mail. Me and Mr S are already dreaming of spring!
Speaking of Mr S. I got him a LePan tablet. The ratings are five-star. We got one for my father-in-law for 198.99 at Walmart (online only - not at our store) They were charging the same on Amazon. I’ve been checking Amazon for the reviews on the unit. When I went to Amazon last night, the price had gone up to $362.00!!!! I was wanting to get one for Mr S, but didn’t want to get into more debt. Well, the cats out of the bag, so I decided to go for it before the Walmart price goes up and/or they sell out completely! He knows and is all excited about it! Check it out!

Did Yinz watch the last debate on Saturday? It was pretty good. Bachamann and Santorum rallied (I am beginning to think Rick will be Newt’s Veep) and Mittens really stepped in it (10k times). That was an awkward exchange.
I was looking for portability. She wants to sit in her chair and use it.

Mornin’! Yup I saw the debate and you are right Bachmann and Santorum did good, Newt was Newt and Mitt was plain stupid!
Heck, I didn’t even know there was a debate - and I haven’t missed one until now! I’m glad Bachmann and Santorum well. I still remember him supporting Specter but he’s growing on me. If he were VP, I’d be ok with that. I love Bachmann as a congresswoman, but can’t seem to think of her as president.

Morning, all! Back to work today. The lake froze just enough the past few days for some brave souls to get out for ice fishing. I’m not risking it yet. Now we’re going to get warm and wet weather... grrrr! Going to be a short season this winter if this keeps up.

Greg, another explosion?? Ha! I wonder what’s going on over there? And yes, I’m leaning towards Newt as well. I am especially glad that he is concerned about the possibility (probability?) of an EMP attack on the US. I’ve read William Fortschen’s “One Second After” and it’s scary as all get out! Newt wrote the introduction to the book. Several months ago, there was a lecture at Hillsdale College given by several military, academics and congressmen. They are all VERY concerned about an EMP attack.
