Fox is so in the tank for Romney - it’s revolting. They are giving Romney an open forum on several Fox programs - to correct all his dumb debate performances.
He makes no substantive comments on his policies or platform - always about his personal self - his parents’ influence on being an American - ??? like sending him to France during VietNam.

I was thinking a Newt/Rick ticket was a real possibility as of yesterday-—then I read that one of Perry’s statements during the debate was a swipe at Gingrich for “cheating”.
Did I misread this quote? It was obviously from the fifteen minutes of the debate I missed. So, in light of that, I can’t see a Gingrich/Perry ticket.

I don’t think Perry would accept a VP nomination. I believe he would consider being governor of Texas a better job. I could be wrong.
I don’t think Perry would choose Newt as veep if he got the nomination. They are just way too different in philosophy.
BLITZER: If there were somebody else that got the Republican nomination -- I know you think that is unlikely, but let's say Newt Gingrich or Mitt Romney got it. Would you consider being a running mate?
PERRY: Why would I leave being governor of the state of Texas to be vice president?
