There is some potential for amusement here. Someone should ask Chafee if Hanukkah should be renamed "Candelabra", and Ramadan, "Monthoff". I'm sure Chafee would have no problem calling Easter, "Ēostre", which he would be happy to do since they sound much the same, and everybody would think "Easter", when secretly he meant the pagan holiday for whatever. He would probably incorrectly assume Astarte. In that direction, he would probably start referring to Passover as "Pizza", playing off the Hebrew pronunciation "Pesach." Independence Day is easy. It's just "July 4th".

Friend “Like Jewish holiday, Kwaanza...Christmas movies”.

Me “Lamo, I have no childhood memories of Jewish or Arab “Hahleeday” movies and the mail stops running on Christmas”

Ended up watching The Good Wife and NCIS Miami. Dang Eva La Rue and Julianna Margulies are smoking hot!
