Sure there are lots of office jobs for which commuters don't need trucks, but there are surely millions more self-employed who do need small trucks to do their job. Maybe it's delivering their product, maybe it's hauling a new freezer to the restaurant, or maybe it's landscaping, construction, plumbing tools...and on and on.....

Every time I drive a major city thoroughfare, I'm reminded of the millions of small businesses lining the street. These people need small trucks. This is another slap in face of the people who make America work, and often put America to work.

The good news; I expect much of the regulatory crap to be undone in 2012.

These people need small trucks.

Unless you're a cowboy or a fisherman I fail to see any valid purpose for a pickup (which is what we're talking about) other than hauling trash. Businesses and tradesmen use vans or real trucks.
