Too bad they didn’t give credit where credit is due. When given the opportunity Perry consistently yanks Romney’s chain.

I believe that bitty-bite comment was directed to me and not to BSF.

Not really.

Every candidate seems to have their die-hard "worshipers". Cain had a LOT of them. Glenn Beck claims to be a Bachmann supporter, but spends all of his time bashing Newt, rather than giving reasons to vote FOR his candidate. Romney's supporters in the establishment idolize him (Krauthammer, Rove, etc)

We're all guilty to some degree. It's human nature. I just hope everybody will grow up once a nominee is chosen.

Romney was so angry at Perry for bringing up his lawn workers, that he put his hand ON Perry. BIG no-no. Look at Mitt's face.

It would seem that when I do that, it upsets some FR mods.

You must not be an advocate for the "correct" candidate. LOL

Getting back to our initial exchange, I do think that it was Newt that drew first blood on Mitt the other night.

I thought I saw shock and fear in his face when he was shouting "NOW WAIT A MINUTE, JUST WAIT A MINUTE!!!" Sweat had broken out on his upper lip.

He seemed off balance after that, and Perry DID land a devastating punch. Now, all Romney has left is to go negative, and the myth of the aloof, unflappable Mitt is gone forever.

LOL, check out that clenched jaw. That “touching” moment was unbelievable, wasn’t it? Perry’s politeness only underscored Romney’s frustration and rude attempt at intimidation.

The ineligible Mitt 'Hussein' Romney:
"I bet you $10,000 that you did not even know
that I and Bain made money from the 911 Victory Mosque land sale.
"

"(The GroundZero Mosque) cleared its final hurdle ….
developers plan to build the $100 million center which will include a mosque.
Since its incipient stages in July 2009, when a Muslim-run real-estate development
company purchased the damaged, vacant building and land where the new center
will be built, the project has sparked controversy and debate.
.... the tattered building that was bought by the Muslim real estate company had
been owned by a subsidiary of Bain Capital, a company Romney founded in 1984.

So it’s OK if his company can profit off the sale of the land ."

“Bain Capital, has cut checks totaling $90,000 to Romney’s operation. “

JMHO - All of the GOP candidates are superior to Obama - but it will not matter. Obama and the Dems will allow the economy’s continued deterioration to encourage more blue-collar & middle-class workers becoming dependent on unemployment benefits & even food stamps.

These are the voters who, out of fear and self-interest, will opt for continued government programs. Those people who, over their working years, have paid $millions in income tax will want some return on their ‘investment’ even if it’s only a few thousand in unemployment benefits. It’s their money and they are also entitled.

On the razor edge of chaos - people choose the status quo as a safety zone.

Obama doesn’t care - if the economy improves - he gets bragging rights - if the economy worsens - he blames the GOP.

....and Willard’s cries of “You’re interrupting! Anderson?” underscore his fundamental weakness. He has to run to the recess monitor because the other boys are picking on him.

I must admit, that is correct and reminiscent of his stuttering defense in the "illegals" spat with Perry (though it was Mitt who was interjecting during Newt's time in Iowa -- perhaps Newt should have lectured Mitt on the "rules" like Mitt did Rick Perry in Las Vegas).

And makes the possibility of a part-time Congress sweet to a lot of people’s ears.

Perry was unflappable when Mitt reached over to touch him.

Even when Perry “oops,” he owns up. Character and honest count.

Right!

"Help!" Anderson.

I mean really.....

Obama asks Iran "pretty please" for our drone back.

What would Mitt do? Say, "Help! Anderson?"

That bet showed he was backed into a corner and it was childish. It reminded me of a kid on the playground betting a million dollars...

Whatever Newt's motive, strategically it's a GOOD, SMART move, as Mitt must go negative, to try and cut into Newt's support levels. So Mitt looks bad, and Newt looks "above he fray"

THis gives Perry a chance to be himself, make his case, and the numbers suggest he's doing so successfully. It appears that a good % of Cain's supporters have gone to Perry, and after Iowa, when Bachmann and Santorum are done, much of their support should flow to Perry as well.

After SC..Mittens is finished, and then I think you'll see the polls about like this..Newt 40-50%..Perry, 30-40%, Paul 10-20%..Paul stays in till the end..his supportes are hard core, dedicated..but in a two man race..Perry v. Newt..well, that's all that Rick can ask for. The GOP base will then decide, mano a mano..if Newt's baggage, history, is too much for them to stomach...

I don't think it will be a negative campaign..they both seem to liek each other, and besides, the ticket could well be Perry/Newt OR Newt/Perry.
