McCain, Kyl chime in on botched sex-crimes cases(Going After Sheriff Arpaio)

PHOENIX—Arizona's two U.S. senators said Thursday they are concerned about reports of a large number of sex-crime investigations being botched by Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio's office during a three-year period ending in 2007.

Sens. John McCain and Jon Kyl issued a written statement involving the reopening of 432 sex-crime cases -- including dozens of alleged child molestations -- after the sheriff's office learned the cases hadn't been investigated adequately or weren't examined at all.

"Victims of abuse not only deserve the respect of law enforcement, but their rights must also be protected throughout the criminal justice process," the statement said.

The senators said they intend to back requests from other authorities for support from the U.S. Justice Department to properly investigate the cases from Arpaio's office and other police agencies.

Arpaio responded in a written statement: "I appreciate the offer of assistance by Sens. McCain and Kyl to help this office and other major law enforcement agencies in the valley (in metro Phoenix) that currently have the same problem we did back in 2007."

So McCain and Kyl are sooooo concerned here that they are asking for Eric Holder's help?

What we have here is really a hidden agenda by these 2 Senators.

Let’s say local or regional law enforcement is corrupt and derelict. What does the Senate have to do with it? And why would the Justice Department stick its head in? What business is it of the feds? Is nothing anymore beyond their purview?

Kyl’s done after next year, so I have no idea what his agenda is. As for McInsane, he’s a walking, talking hidden agenda.

It’s funny I am sittinghere trying to think of words nasty enough to describe John Mccain. He is a thoroughly disgusting human being. I don’t knwo what he was before he wnet to Viet Nam, or what he was while imprisoned, but I know what he is now, and it is disgusting.

“Victims of abuse not only deserve the respect of law enforcement...”

OK, Johns, why not START with the
pre-election deaths of some of “Bath-House” Barry’s boy toys?
Donald Young, Nate Spencer, Larry Bland, etc.

I figure “abuse” includes being “offed”-—(allegedly, of course).

These two are going after Arpaio because Joe Arapio is doing the job they should have done! What phonies!

Sounds to me like old Joe is getting pretty close to the truth of the matter about ‘Bammy’s Birth Certificate. It also confirms that the problem is that of the entire RinoCracy-’Bammy was a bipartisan Treasury Looting Job.
