Great.
I have been hoarding incadincadoo bulbs for 2 years, planning on the black market that was to come.
Now what am I going to do with a garage full of regular price incadincadoo bulbs?
Phht! Gov! Who needs them?
“Among the other policy riders attached to the bill is a requirement that all new federal employees be run through E-Verify, the voluntary government system for checking to see if employees are authorized to work in the U.S.”
Oooooh...that’s going to tick off Governor Perry. He’s not into this ‘enforcement’ stuff.
Keep them or sell them or give them to friends. I don't know of any limit on their shelf life, provided they are kept at moderate temperature.
You never know when a wacked out, tyrannical, leftist administration and Congress may try to ban them again. And I wouldn't rule out the possibility of bans on the state or local level either.
Plus, as several replies have already noted, this whole business has made the light bulb manufacturing business pretty iffy.
Factories have been shut down. And nobody knows what stupid regulations may be coming down the line. And no doubt Obama’s chief business adviser, the CEO of GE, will step in and start manufacturing them in China.
At least the bulbs that Freepers have stored in their garages were made in America. And maybe some day we’ll get back to that.
As it happens, I use all compact flourescent bulbs in our house, and have for some time, because it saves a lot of money. But it should be my choice, not a government mandate.
