For about two weeks, maybe a month. I’m not sure that the Egyptians can maintain that stuff beyond that, from what I’ve read here and there. I would love to hear some informed opinion on that.
It seems I have read some reports like that over time. Still, a quick two week drive with hundreds of tanks, can ruin you whole day, if you catch my drift.
It would cause Israel to contemplate some serious preventative measures, that the rest of the world would condemn universally, of course.
Coupled with a drive from the North, Israel could be under a massive short term threat to the nation.
I have a hard time seeing Israel actually destroyed, as I don’t think that will every happen again. Still, this scenario isn’t something I’d like to see Israel face.
As you say, it would be good to have someone who knows more about Egypt’s ability to utilize those tanks for more than a short period of time.
