I was born, and raised in Germany, I was European Director for my company for 16 years. I naturally speak fluent German and know the German psyche. The German media is the most anti-American I have ever encountered. I read it daily, just to jumpstart my bloodpressur. :)
The Germans would sell their souls for the right price. Just investigate German involvement in Iran, etc.

By the way, 90% of Germans credit Gorbachev and Kohl for tearing down the wall. Reagan, to them did absolutely nothing. All politicians say anything that sounds good. Judge Merkel by her deeds, not her words.

Christian Lagarde, the head of the IMF, said this week that if dramatic action is not taken immediately we could actually see conditions "reminiscent of the 1930s depression" and that no country on earth "will be immune to the crisis".

And most of us here on FreeRepublic know EXACTLY what needs to be done! Less goverment! Less taxes! More investment in the American work ethic!

So far, politicians in Europe have held 19 high-level emergency meetings in an attempt to solve this crisis. All of their efforts have failed.

Because their actions were intentionally designed to fail!
