Legalized same-sex marriage may provide couples with more than just legal benefits. A new study suggests gay men who get married may be healthier than unmarried gay men.

For the study, published in the Dec. 15 issue of the American Journal of Public Health, researchers compared health records on 1,211 gay patients at a community health clinic in Massachusetts in the years before and after same-sex marriage was legalized in 2003.

What did the researchers find? In the year after same-sex marriage was legalized, gay and bisexual men who got married were significantly less likely to visit the clinic for medical and mental health care. Married men saw reductions in their hypertension, depression, and frequency of stress-related disorders called adjustment disorders, health records showed. These reductions contributed to a 13 percent drop in health care visits in the year following legalization of same-sex marriage. Lesbians were not included in the study because not many visited the clinic. …

Heterosexual marriage reduces the risk of STD's, too.

Where's THAT headline?

I did not think it was permissible for the press to discuss the health risk of the gay lifestyle as it is seen as endorsing “homophobia.”

Correction!
Gay “marriage” has NEVER been made legal in Massachusetts!

MARCH 16, 2010
Confirmed Today: Gay Marriage STILL Not Legal in Mass.!
For years now — since 2005 — the homosexual lobby has filed and refiled its bill to legalize “gay marriage” in Massachusetts. They know that the law as it now stands refers to “man/woman”, “husband/wife” relationships as marriage. Today, the Judiciary Committee once again sent the bill to “study” — meaning, they killed it. But the very existence of this bill over the years confirms that we are correct that “gay marriage” has never been made legal in Massachusetts.

SHELVED TODAY:
House Bill 1708
AN ACT TO PROTECT MASSACHUSETTS FAMILIES THROUGH EQUAL ACCESS TO CIVIL
MARRIAGE
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
of the same, as follows:
SECTION 1. Chapter 207 is hereby amended by adding the
following new section:—
Section 37A. Any person who otherwise meets the eligibility requirements of this chapter may
marry any other eligible person regardless of gender.

Why would the Judiciary Committee continue to bury this bill? We believe they don’t want to draw attention to the fact that all the “gay marriages” since 2004 are fraudulent.

Well, it is an incentive to limit the number of partners. But, really, better health for gays has nothing to do with why its is being shoved down our throats. It will do nothing to increase the percentage of adults who marry, not when divorce occurs for the most trivial reasons, when women buy the notion that marriage is a kind of trap., an idea that guys have held for many years.

It’s always healthier to be in a monogamous committed relationship - physically, mentally, etc... So, it’s not exactly a surprise that gay couples are healthier than their single (and likely highly promiscuous) counterparts. Not that one isn’t at more of a risk of various STDs in that community in general... Married straight people are generally healthier than their single (and more likely to be promiscuous) counterparts, too.

Who the hell finances these sick “studies?”

Why, the same homos who fund the studies that "find" that lesbians have more well-adjusted children than normal, natural families.

I know a lesbian couple with a middle-school-aged child who is... well... not well adjusted. He’s beaten up regularly, cries and doesn’t want go to school. He’s labeled a “freak” because he has “two moms.”

I’m not sorry... this is not normal. This is sick, and this poor child is being tortured over it. Fsck these sickos. I hope I can have 4 children at a minimum. Working on the first now.
