No one working for the Federal Government can be compelled to obey illegal orders.
If I were the Governor of Arizona I would IMMEDIATELY issue an executive order mandating that all state employees discontinue investigating, enforcing, or otherwise implementing ANY federal laws. I would remove all state police from the freeways and any federal highway. No more kidnapping, bank robbery, etc., investigations at all. I would also turn existing investigative material for federal crimes over to the local federal office of the FBI. I would then tell the federal homeland security office to flat GO TO HELL. Do not call us with any of your problems.
How do you withhold information the local sheriff needs, to enforce the laws these pricks won’t enforce?
Withholding that information might be a crime in and of itself.
Anyone not 100% in securing borders and 100% deporting all Illegals is just helping Obama and anyone supporting Illegal Alien Amnesty

Under what authority do they have to ether the sovereign state and just start removing prisoners?
While I am hardly convinced that many (any) "removals" will take place:

In a small rural county here in Missouri 4 men got off a bus in the county seat . They ask for directions to the local Bank of America so they could exchange pesos for dollars according to the sheriff of that county. The county seat (population 632) only has two banks, one of them is a branch facility. Neither is associated with B of A.
The sheriff suspicioned that they might be illegal aliens so he ask for IDs. They could not produce any form of of identification so the sheriff called the area ICE office.
ICE told the sheriff that they had no interest in the men and if they had not committed any crimes locally, he should release them.
The sheriff took the men to the county line, released them, pointed west and said "Bank of America that way".
The sheriff disclosed all these events in a TV interview. It was evident that the sheriff was not happy about the lack of cooperation from "federal agents".
It appears Sheriff Joe is not alone when it comes to ICE not working with the local sheriff.
Sounds like they will be profiling.
This is Obama attacking Sherriff Joe for investigating his Bona Fides. Sherriff Joe must have something.
This is a warning a threat to the sherriff.
This is Obama using his office to intimidate a State and County Official.
If John McCain was half a man he would be all over this Bullsh*t. As Senator from Arizona he should stand up for the men who perform their duty in his state, John McCain sucks if he isn’t on this like stink on a skunk.
Really, the state needs to take steps to organize a militia to step in during the absence of a competent Federal government. Won’t happen, but it needs to. We are on our own out here.
