Then why doesn’t Obama travel to Afghanistan unescorted?

““UBL” had been used by the intel community for some years.”

How many years?

Hussein’s handlers have been working him for years.

They were using “UBL” when I retired in 1997.

“It is a simple fact that we went into Afghanistan because of the attack on the United States on Sept. 11, 2001. We are there now to ultimately defeat Al Qaeda, to stabilize Afghanistan and stabilize it in part so that Al Qaeda or other terrorists who have as their aim attacks on the United States cannot establish a foothold again in that country,”

That is not only nuts, it’s neither logical, factual or historically correct.

The Taliban not Al Queda, ruled Afghanistan at the time of 9/11.

Al Queda was present in Afghanistan, on 9/11, but they were a minor presence and did not rule Afghanistan, the Taliban did.

We could have “gone to war” in Afghanistan, against Al Queda alone, if the Taliban had chosen to permit that and cooperate with that. They refused and have never been “allied” with us in Afghanistan and against Al Queda.

So, we went to war in Afghanistan to take down the Taliban regime, because its very existence, its very philosophy made it, keeps it, and will keep it an ally of Al Queda and similar type movements, as such movements are mirrors of the Taliban themselves.

We are at war in Afghanistan AGAINST the Taliban because they chose to give safe harbor to Al Queda and because there is not a dime’s worth of difference between them and Al Queda.

To pretend otherwise is to live a very dangerous fiction.

I suppose that if a Predator were to kill Mullah Omar with a Hellfire missile that the Administration wouldn’t be crowing about it? Yeah, that’s what I thought! Confusion reigns in this White House.

Biden: "If, in fact, the Taliban is able to collapse the existing government, which is cooperating with us in keeping the bad guys from being able to do damage to us, then that becomes a problem for us."

That's going to be the deal to the Taliban from Obama and Hillary.

So all they're asking the the various warring, murdering, screaming, infighting, blood-drenched maniacal Muslim factions to do is get along, and give peace a chance.

LOL, f'ckn' morons.

You can't win a war if you can't (or won't) define who the enemy is.

Unfortunately for America, this Administration has, in effect, defined the enemy as us!

No kidding. Biden needs to be awarded dumbest man on Earth. At least this would ring truer than Ubamas No-bell prize.

"Look, the Taliban per se is not our enemy. That's critical," (slo-Joe)

OK...

"It's only regrettable when taken out of context," White House spokesman Jay Carney said of the vice president's remarks in an interview published Monday.

Apparently in commie-land the definition of "taken out of context" is actually "quoting word for word."

But the truly revealing item that clearly indicates the thought process of the communist agenda "progressive liberal" donk was not brought to to the front.

Allow me...

"There is not a single statement that the president has ever made in any of our policy assertions that the Taliban is our enemy"

Seriously Joe?

Just because Fearless Reader, The Won, Barrack Hussein Bari Shabazzz Bammy WTF The Magnificent did not actually say the Taliban is our enemy, then they are not?

STUPIDITY REIGNS SUPREME

Thanks. After watching Uncle Ted K flounder between Obama and Osama, I figured they were trying to prevent similar occurrences.

It's all in the context, you see. Provide the context and this doesn't seem like such a radical departure from reality. Joe's entire statement was: "One way I can prove that I'm dumber than a sack of hammers and make every conservative out there pray to God 0bama never snuffs it is to say stuff like the Taliban isn't our enemy while I'm playing with my toes. Like this. This little piggy went to market. I'm a heartbeat away from the Presidency, y'know. Gurmadurmadorkdorkdork!"

See? When you understand the context it all makes sense.
