Number 3 at State Dept. on Kim Jong Il: Smart, Witty, Problem-Solver, Humorous, Engaged
The Weekly Standard ^ | 12/20/11 | DANIEL HALPER

Wendy Sherman, undersecretary of state for political affairs at the State Department, had some rather nice things to say about the reclusive Kim Jong Il, the dictatorial leader of North Korea who died a few days ago. She had met the rogue dictator, Josh Rogin reports, when Sherman "served as State Department counselor and North Korea policy coordinator under former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, [and had] traveled to Pyongyang with Albright in 2000."

An NPR obituary quotes the high ranking State Department official as saying that "He was smart and a quick problem-solver," and that "[Kim Jong Il] is also witty and humorous. Our overall impression was very different from the way he was known to the outside world."

Sherman sat next to Kim at a stadium to watch a huge festival of synchronized dancing. She says she turned to Kim and told him she had the sense that in some other life, he was a "great director."

A quick problem solver? I guess so when you are the absolute dictator who can have any dissent instantly quashed with violent force and have anyone who dares to complain murdered.

Just Wow! How can you say those things about the dictator of one of the World’s worst Hell-holes? I mean there is no one else to blame if the people are literally starving, right?

a quick problem-solver

Yeah, shooting people on sight for any perceived slight is quite decisive.

Yes, like her boss at the time, Miss Halfbright, Ms Sherman seems to be have been enamored by the inconsequentials of Kim’s personality and gave little thought, or concern to the real life consequences of his actions.

Oh, and that visit by Madeline Half-wit was the single worst example of toadying ever done by a SecState. I wouldn’t ‘brag’ about accompanying Mad Maddy to the Hermit Kingdom.

How about substituting Kim Jong Il with Obama? I bet she used the same words.

Number 3 at State Dept. on Barack Hussein Obama: “Smart, Witty, Problem-Solver, Humorous, Engaged”

Or Hugo Chavez? Or ..... you get the gist.

Maybe she should move to N Korea to get a more accurate picture of the situation.

“From April 1996 until July 1997, Sherman was President and CEO of the newly recreated Fannie Mae Foundation,”

Pretty good for someone witha degree in social work. She could care less that there are actual working concentration camps in North Korea. Disgusting C&*t. It staggers the mind to think that she was charmed by him, knowing what was well known about the death camps there.

So utterly Obama-esque! The quintessential distillation for all that is the demented, convoluted left-wing, liberal mindset, perspective on the world.

When the 1, 2 and 3 spots of your department are occupied with incompetent morons, you can assume most everyone else in the department is a twit.

State needs to be cleaned out.
