The average family is paying an additional $4,000 a year for gasoline?

That means that even at $4 a gallon, which would be 1,000 additional gallons of gas and 23,000 additional miles of driving per year for me.

It is actually a cut in the amount you are placing in your name for your future Social Security retirement income.

The $1000 figure represents an annual income gross of $50,000.

Sure would like to know how many Americans are making that these days.
