Gingrich has been attacked far more viciously than Palin ever thought of being attacked.

From his own side!

And the result will be Romney. If Paul gains ground, then Romney will easily take him out later, due to Paul's radical, hard Left National Security issues.

Romney looks like he is easily skating to a win, like some of us predicted he would, as well as using the tactics we predicted.

Romney cannot win the General Election. His own lies and flip-flops will be eviscerated by the MSM and the Billion Dollar Democrat war chest.

What planet have you been living on? 'Cause it ain't been Earth.

Seeing as how YOU have been one of those supposedly on the same side as Palin who has nonetheless consistently attacked her on Free Republic for years, your spin is ridiculously ironic.

Many of us here have regarded Romney as THE prime threat to the GOP and the Republic since 2007, I have always (you can check my posting history) worried about Romney "easily skating to a win." That YOU have been an unwitting tool of his tactics has sailed over your head.

You wanted Palin to throw in the towel -- well, you got your wish. And now you're trying to justify the Gingrich situation by saying what was NOT okay for Palin, is okay for Gingrich.

Fascinating.

That you think most of your fellow "villagers" are idiots,

I've had the tagline since Obama was elected but if you want to identify with it...so be it.

that you gage Palin by the fact that "they couldn't sell Todd's TV special. Their 15 minutes are up ..." indicates that you are completely under the spell of the MSM's illusion.

I gage Palin by the FACT that she chose not to run and gave her reasons for her decision. That some of you people can't accept that FACT indicates that YOU are under the spell and are delusional.

Why can't you people move on?...like Sarah has!

Oh, I'm willing to move on. Palin said she won't run, I accept it, I hope she changes her mind, and AS I HAVE POSTED, I'll support Gingrich if it comes down to it, whereas I will reject Romney absolutely.

Once again: Idiots haven't elected most of the leftist idiots (redundant!) we see in office today. VOTE FRAUD DID IT.

But the MSM has villagers so convinced of the illusion that they're surrounded by idiots that they accept fraudulent representation -- idiots in office -- as legit. THEREFORE, they think most of their fellow villagers are among the idiots who voted for them.

MOST PEOPLE DIDN'T VOTE FOR THEM, dear. It's why Democrats have to cheat to win -- if they didn't, they'd lose, and they'd lose because the "idiots" are pretend.

It doesn't have to do with Palin, it has to do what what the MSM says "people think" as opposed to what they REALLY think.

It really irks me to see people accusing the majority of their fellow Americans of being "idiots." People who do that are being manipulated by the MSM and are PART OF THE PROBLEM. Stop insulting your countrymen and start seeing through the illusion.

About a month ago I was privileged to hear a young man who is into high tech voter fraud. It was really interesting and while no expert on voter fraud, I am aware of various means used to steal elections. (He proved Congressman Weiner was lying about the pictures he posted of his "privates"...Weiner resigned the next day.)

I am not a victim of the MSM. I am aware that in some predominate Dem precincts that more people vote than are registered.

Countless times I have been an election judge. Most recently I was a poll-watcher in a recall election.

My first vote, and knocking on doors, for a POTUS candidate was for Goldwater. IOW, I've been around the block a few times...not just sitting at a computer opining.

I stick by my tagline. I am no more influenced by FReeper postings than I am by the MSM.

The most informed conservative voters in the current GOP primary race are those supporting Rick Perry.

Good post, thanks for a civil reply, and thanks for your productive involvement (since Goldwater, no less! :^) in American politics. My take on your tagline remains: The "village of idiots" is an illusion that looks so real, the American majority perceives itself as the minority, thereby rolling over demoralized when a minority relentlessly made to appear like a force supported by a majority of "idiots" seizes power through deceit.

Americans are feeling the pain because reality inevitably trumps illusion. A fake railroad bridge can look very real ... until you try to run a real train across it. American "idiocy" and "support" for liberal politicians looks very real, but it's an illusion. The majority of Americans are being ruled over by folks they didn't elect. Reality is hitting the fan, as we see in the volatility and anger represented in the upcoming presidential election, but the majority are still convinced the cause is "idiocy" instead of deceit.

Many Americans who hate liberalism are looking at "the other guy" and placing the blame on him, and "the other guy" is doing the same back at them. We have Americans falsely accusing each other of voting like idiots -- and it plays to the advantage of liberals.

Democrats and liberals have to cheat to win because if they didn't, they'd lose. They'd lose because they are the minority.

I guess I could have said differently. What I was getting at is the media has done such a job on Sarah Palin, that a lot of people do not like her. Her negatives are well above 50%. Not good. But the sad thing is these people don’t like her because the don’t really know the truth about her.

“...but most of the country can’t stand her.”

It’s not true. The media propaganda machine has said it so much and so loud “everyone” believes it, yet they don’t know many people that “can’t stand” her.

Think about it.

What you’re saying is that you (for some reason) believe polls run by the media. The media is the official propaganda arm of the left. Funny thing is when Palin spoke at rallies and so forth, people would pack in tight every time. She drew huge enthusiastic crowds. The media hates her, the leftists hate her, and the elitists in DC hate her, and the RINO GOP professional politicians hate her.

I think if she decided to run, she would win. There are millions of people in the US who are not on the same page as leftists, GOP insider professionals, DC elitists or the media.
