With New rules for coal-fired power plants, the unintended consequences will lead:

1) Fewer built,more retired plants

2) Power bills skyrocket with the media, like clockwork, labeling Big Energy as greedy rather than blame the EPA for increase in costs

3) Rolling blackouts when a surge in energy demand, extreme heat/cold in Texas for example, are unable to be met.

4) Media gets in a tizzy, calls for MORE regulation, when grandma dies of heatstroke because she can not afford AC.

5) Normal consumers drastically cutback on power leading to more increases in costs by utilities to cover sudden lack of demand.

6) OWS crowd demands nationalization of energy production in the name of FAIRNESS.

7) More layoffs/off shoring due to increased energy costs by manufacturers

8) Mexico builds hundreds of coal plants on border, sells power to states and the pollution rolls right across the Rio Grande.

9) More frauds like Solandyra pop up

10) Obama gets yet another Nobel Prize for destroying the American economy.

9)
8)

“3) Rolling blackouts when a surge in energy demand, extreme heat/cold in Texas for example, are unable to be met”

TRE/NERC/FERC/PUCT will be pointing at some poor ERCOT Operator with questions like, “what didn’t you know and when didn’t you know it.”

Plumbers know the key, it all rolls down hill.
