I’d be concerned, since it’s rumored that much of Saddam’s chemical stash ended up there. We don’t need a market bizaar for terrorists sitting off Israel’s doorstep.
re: Yup...Bunch of big rigs high tailing it out of Iraq pre-invasion. If memory serves, we bombed some russians that were along one of those convoys.
All of Sadam’s weaponry was guided into the Bekaa valley by US SOG operatives.
If I recall correctly we know where it is as well.....one of the reasons Bush didn't ‘t announce the actual finds that were in Iraq, and that they were tracking the WMD which were being sent to Syria, was the administration then didn't want their whereabouts to be known by those who would attempt to get them during or after the height of the war.
