Cocaine lumpers.
And not even so much as a thank you for the US.
I’ll file this adjacent to my “1,000 mpg carburetor” and Holder “Justice Dept” reports.
Of course it’s low. All their workers are here.........
And I doubt Mexico has 99 weeks of unemployment benefits, WIC cards, and other assorted welfare freebies designed to keep people poor, unemployed and on the Democratic plantation.
Hate to say it, but if the US adopted some of Mexico’s “work or you starve” policies, we might have 5% unemployment rates also.
If the US adopted Mexico’s border and immigration laws, AND actually enforced them, we’d both be better off..................
ROTFLMAO!
This is such BS on its face. They have no safety net in Mexico. You don't earn a living, you don't eat. So, you beg, borrow (good luck with that one), or steal, or work for the drug lords, in order to eat. Another popular method is to have a family member work in the U.S. and send the money home.
Comparing the phony U.S. unemployment rate to the Mexican rate isn't comparing apples and oranges, it's comparing cranberries and cactus, Helen Thomas and J.Lo, Barnie Frank and Fabio Lanzoni, Sylvester Stallone and Pee Wee Herman.
Within a decade or two this is going to change, as Mexico has experienced a demographic drop in its rate of reproduction.
To explain, a phenomenon has been noted that when a nation hits an economic plateau unique to itself, suddenly the number of children per couple drops suddenly to become balanced, 2.1 - 2.3 children per family. This can be described as making the jump from a 3rd world country to a 2nd world country, from an average of poor citizens to lower middle class ones.
It happened in Mexico now more than 10 years ago, and Mexico’s population growth rate is now 1.1% The US growth rate is .96, so we are almost on a par.
This actually bodes well for Mexico, because it means that their economy will have to improve to more skilled, with higher wages, as Mexico will low unemployment. And there will be much less economic incentive to migrate illegally to the US, where it may be harder to get work.
Barney, sorry
There is a reason why Mexico’s UE is so low.
One of their major exports: illegals to the US.
One of their major imports: money from those illegals exported to the US.
It is a win, win — for Mexico, and the US picks up the tab for their benefits, such as health care and education.
Gee, imagine that. Wonder why it’s so much lower than ours???
