If you want to know what a Tea Party America might look like, there is no place like Kansas.
In the past year, three state agencies have been abolished and 2,050 jobs have been cut. Funding for schools, social services and the arts have been slashed. The new Republican governor rejected a $31.5 million federal grant for a new health-insurance exchange because he opposes President Obamas health-care law. And thats just the small stuff.
A new Office of the Repealer has been created to reduce the number of laws and regulations, and the Repealer is canvassing the state for more cut suggestions.
In the upcoming legislative session, Gov. Sam Brownback (R) plans to roll out proposals to change the way schools are funded, taxes are levied and state pensions are administered.
A year after voters vaulted hundreds of tea party candidates to power in Washington and in state capitals, the movements goals are being pursued aggressively in states such as Wisconsin, Ohio and Texas.
But in Kansas, as nowhere else in the country, tea party fervor is reshaping government. The same political forces of the Republican Party driving the confrontation over taxes and spending in Washington are now completely in charge in Kansas.
The GOP now controls the states House of Representatives with the biggest majority in half a century. Emboldened by this power shift, Brownback the states former two-term U.S. senator has embarked on his overhaul at a breathtaking pace.

What Governor Brownback needs to do now (or at least in 2012 as the New Year begins) is to initiate an investigation into the cozy and corrupt relationship that existed between his predecessor (Sebelius) and that roastin’-in-Hell abortionist, “Tiller the Killer”.
Just follow the money. And the blood.
This awful program also denied school districts that were short-changed, the right to raise local and private funds to continue operating when their local tax dollars were being sent to districts that became awash in $$$ with no place left to spend the monies.
These tiny western districts gave every employee turkeys, hams and cash bonuses for the "holidays" and still had money left over. They were building new buildings with luxurious appointments when they were less than half full!!!
The “Sell your soul for a chump change” game has kept the Democrats afloat for a long time. Those on welfare should not be allowed to sing soul music as they have no soul.....
Sounds like Walker finally has some competition for the leftist hate.

The moment won’t last, so seize it.

The big question is, is Brownback being dragged kicking and screaming...His soft-spot for Illegals is well documented.
Brownback is a smart guy. He intends to eliminate the state income tax too. His goal is business development will bring revenue in for the state. I think he can get the job done.
Rock Chalk Jayhawk. Go Sam Brownback.
