As a Virginian, I am voting for Newt as just about everyone I talk to. I like Perry but he is not doing so well, yet.
This is a primary, whether or not a candidate is "doing well" should have no influence on your vote at all. If you truly like Perry then that is who you should vote for.
If Hitler Jr. was doing well, would you vote for him?
That’s why anything they say about Newt I ignore. I don’t care what it is. That game is over. And, yes, this is our one last shot - Newt’s got to landslide win in the primary. I do not trust them w/a close election - they want it SO bad.
GOOD on you. If rivals have to resort to hit piece ads to improve their chances, then that rival isn’t worth spit. Comparisons are one thing; obvious hit pieces packed with lies are quite another.
Romney is a snake. He will never get my vote.
Hopefully Newt’s coffers will fill after the first few primaries. VA’s primary is on Super Tuesday this go-round, so it’s going to be a VERY expensive day for all the candidates. Newt is the least well funded of the four.
The media market for Northern VA, the most populous (and most liberal) part of the state, is out of DC and very expensive compared to IA and NH.
With an open primary, and no D race, the very political Dems in NOVA will come out to vote for Romney or Paul, whichever they think would be best from their perspective to help out Obama. They still HATE Newt for taking away ‘their’ House 18 years ago.
UGH. That's sickening news.
Maybe if they believe the media that Newt is easier to beat, they might vote for him, but I doubt it.
