Wouldn't it be better to sue the folks who delivered the hits?

"Wouldn't it be better to sue the folks who delivered the hits?" Not if you're looking to collect some money.

Could this be the beginning of the end of football?

Football players suing for brain damage?
...biting my tongue.
Full Disclosure: Want to find out more about second-strike injury and the possibility of diffuse axonal injury.
No cheers, unfortunately.
...oh, and Merry Christmas!

Next step, the Holder Injustice Department will sue to allow lesbians to play pro football.
...then change the rules so they won't get hurt, all the while denying that there are any meaningful differences between men and woman.
Cheers!

How do they know the brain injuries didn’t start in high school and college football?

First off they assumed the risk. Second, any such claim they would have would be regulated by State workers compensation statutes.

LOL! Nice to see a league that kisses Hussein’s backside, and pushes a potential owner like Rush Limbaugh out the door, get some flack.

A quick search of Wikipedia shows that Lewis was just sued for a bad loan...$660k...guess he could use the money.

I’m sorry, but I didn’t see where the NFL required that all of these players enter the draft, sign a contract, and assume the risks of the game... they did so voluntarily knowing the risks of injury.

I’m afraid the NFL will do to football what NASCAR did to racing. They’re going to make it two hand touch when all is said and done.

It becomes a federal issue since they cross state lines to play games.

Can’t speak for the other players, but being a coke head might have had a little something to do with Lewis’ scrambles thought processes.
To: Libloather
What difference does it make when the NFL knew taking hits in the head can give you brain damage.
All of these guy have watched Cassious Clay fights.
They were all overpaid to accept the rick, and I would argue that if you went back and studie their High School and College exams they were Dane Bramaged long before their careers started.
They are just looking for another pay day.
Next the players with Arthritis will blame their shoulder and back, and knee problems on the game, and start looking for their pay check.
You took the checks, don’t cry now.
