With all due respect which I am confident you know I have for you, Romney is certainly an idiot but so are Boehner and McConnell and the House and Senate GOP leadership. Control of the House is sufficient to play brinksmanship every bit as much as do Obozo and the Senate.

Even without the House, the Senate GOP could easily refrain from crawling into the gutter with Harry Reid and playing an endless game of "Let's Make a Deal" at the expense of GOP principles. Watch what a Demonrat minority will do after the GOP takes control of the Senate in 2012.

With control of the House, the House can refuse to consider Senate Demonrat proposals just as Reid refuses to consider GOP House bills. Further, money bills are supposed to start in the House.

As per usual spineless excuses for GOP "leaders" like Boehner and McConnell are at their very best showing how they lose by not fighting while the Demonrats take them to the woodshed every time and laugh at them in public at will.

At first, I only want two things out of Boehner and McConnell: their resignations as leaders and their resignations from Congress ASAP. Then I want them to be as silent as ave been former speakers Foley and Wright and Hastert and former senate leader Dole. They hyave demonstrated that they have no constructive role to play in American public life. They are creatures of the most corrupt GOP contributors. They think their only job is the coddling of zillionaires and that the interests of the GOP are served by ignoring all those embarrassing pro-lifers and pro-family folks and gun guys and taxpayer activists who just do refuse to understand the absolute need of the leaders to pad their grandchildren's trust funds with insider trading profits and payoffs.

These are the same slime who moved heaven and earth and threatened their dissenting caucus members with retaliation in order to give Obozo his desperately desired election year $2.5 trillion increase in his allowance (raising the debt limit) to pay off all the usual suspects.

They have vetoed the demands of the Tea Party activists who gave them the biggest mid-term Congressional victory in 75 years or so.

Finally, this "payroll tax reduction" actually speeds the insolvency of Social Security. It is a terrible policy on that basis alone. They SHOULD have attacked the Democrats for undermining Social Security and used the opportunity to demand fiscal accountability for the waste of SS trust money over the generations but the GOP leaders are also guilty of that business as usual. One method of shoring up Social Security is telling Obozo and Reid that they get absolutely NOTHING from the House until they start redeeming the IOUs which are about all that the SS "Trust Funds" contain.

In any event, may you and yours enjoy a Happy and Holy and Merry Christmas and may God continue to Bless all of you.
