Doofer, the $4,100 fee was for traffic cops to close down the streets, if OccupyKC had just marched on the sidewalks, there would have been no cost. This solution was suggested at the Police Board meeting, but was discarded by OKC because it wouldn’t have the same “impact” as walking in the street.
