Maybe the problem with Iowa is just how easy it is for a small number of committed activists to manipulate the results of a contest in a low population state. With a big state like SC, it’s much harder if not impossible, even with a open primary.

BTW, thanks for voting for Newt!

First off, voting for Newt? I didn’t say that. Secondly, as I recall, McCain was in single digits in Iowa in 2008, and went on to win the SC primary (much to my disgust). I am leaning Newt...just not there (100%) yet. However, I would take Newt over snake oil salesman Romney any day/week/month/year/decade/century/millineum...you get my drift.
